Since Google revealed this mystery about HTTPS rewards for search result rankings last week there have been some more changes. One mainly important step by Google was to update the AdSense ad codes to support secure sites from now on. But there is still something more to think about as an ad publisher.

If you’re using Google AdSense on your website with HTTPS you probably will lose a lot of income, because there are still less SSL-certified advertisers out there. So, if you want to migrate to HTTPS to get this special tiny little ranking boost in search, you should first consider whether it is worth losing Google AdSense earnings instead.
